The Corporations Act is a major piece of legislation which governs the operation of companies dealing with amongst other things:
- company structures
- directors duties
- corporate insolvency
- financial reporting
Whilst you may not often need to refer to the Corporations Act it is important you you have some familiarity woth the legislation.
